hey guys. im curious who you guys thought were the most talented guys coming into or staying in NYC and flegg this season?

Im thinking Sio, Terepo, Asiata, Tavita. Is there one really looking GOOD prospect thats going to blitz in 2010.? A real gun?

Ive heard murmurings about one Jacob Gagan for example.

Any thoughts would be appreciated..

Gagan would be close to the best player in his age group.
He is a fullback and a damn good one.

I hope he can recover from his ankle injury and come back 100 percent.
He has a fairly good build for a fullback.

OURFOOTYTEAM’S NSW ALL SCHOOLS “ALL STARS SECONDS” TEAM 2009
Story & Photo's By : ourfootymedia & the ourfooty selection team
Well here it is people.

Ourfootyteam have come up with our NSW All Schools "ALL STARS SECONDS" team. And boy, was it hard! It was just a hard an assignment as it was to name the number one team.

1 Jayden TAVITA Westfields Sports HS
He wasn’t selected for NSWCHS but he had a great season for the Parramatta SG Ball team and then was promoted to the Toyota Cup team. Also had a great season for Westfield’s Sports High.

4 Jorge TAUFUA The Hills Sports HS
This bloke nearly made the number one team. He played some great games for his school and Parramatta SG Ball team. Powerful and fast he was a real handful for opposition defences. NSWCHS player. Has signed to play for Parramatta Toyota Cup in 2010.

7 Tim CRELLIN The Hills Sports HS
“Pit Bull” came to notice in The Hills Sports High footy team where his trademark hits in defence softened up many opposition teams. Can play hooker as well. His form was so good he got a run in Parramatta’s Toyota Cup team. He has also signed to play there next season.

9 Nick FOLINO The Hills Sports HS
The most under rated player running around today. Reminds me of Cameron Smith from the Storm with his spit fire runs from dummy half and his strong defence. Will form a devastating combination with Queensland’s Dean Blackman in Parramatta’s SG Ball team in 2010.

OURFOOTYTEAM’S NSW ALL SCHOOLS “ALL STARS” TEAM 2009
Here it is, the 2009 OURFOOTYTEAM NSW SCHOOLBOYS TEAM of the YEAR.
Selectors must surely have one of the most difficult jobs on the planet, after a fantastic season of schoolboys rugby league, we have decided on the the following players who in our opinion who make up the top NSW Schoolboys team.
Congratulations to the following players, they all win nothing, apart from the honour of playing for their schools and clubs and entertaining many countless rugby league fans during the 2009 season.
It has been one of the most difficult decisions selecting this top team, in fact it so so hard, we have decided to also publish ourfootyteam 2 side, which is just as awesome as the top team in a couple days time.
Not everyone will agree on who we have selected, the selections were based on performances throught this footy season.

8. PENI TEREPO (THE HILLS SPORTS HS)
Parramatta brought this bloke over from NZ and he turned into a great buy for the club as he went about his business in the Eels SG Ball team and was later elevated to the Toyota Cup team. He caught the eye playing some great football for The Hills Sports High School. He shades Jake Finn, Rodney Moefaauo and Matthew Groat for the position. NSWCHS player and a controversial non-selection in the Australian Schoolboys.

10. P.J. ASIATA (PATRICIAN BROS COLLEGE BLACKTOWN)
A vastly under-rated player who played for NSWCCC this year. He was also an integral member of the Parramatta Eels SG Ball campaign. A big man who takes a lot of stopping. Australian Schoolboy player.

These youngsters come very well rated by a few areas as does Jacob Gagan.

A few more names that should come up - another very good fullback in Chris Ulugia, Josh Tuitupou, Royce Hura and Jacob Loko amongst the likes of Sio and those mentioned above. Daniel Galati will spend a lot more time at hooker and Mitchell Johnson should spend plenty of time on the field as well.

The two players I am most looking forward to playing well this year however are Rory Brien who came up from SG Ball last year to play for the NYC side and scored some very strong tries. He'll do well with a full season of training under his belt.

The player I am most excited about however is the young backrower Pat O'Hanlon. A shoulder reconstruction cost him further games in the NYC after stepping up to cover for injuries from SG Ball last year. Even after the initial injury he backed up on the weekend after to set up some good tries with some great offloads through the line. He is already a giant, just needs to fill out his frame. He could well have a taste of first grade during the trials as well IMO.

The NYC side may be down on experience this year however some of the players who came through last year and will back up again will have gained some valuable experience.

apparently our SG Ball side is as strong as it's ever been this and 4 players in the squad 2 already mentioned by Colonel (Gagen and Loko) as well as Jason Wehebe and Vai Tautai are considered to be ready for NYC now if they're needed.

Let's hope they aren't needed and the NYC team can stand up and be a force this year.
