I'd be surprised if he went to SL. There's 1 vacant job here and likely to be another couple opening up shortly. He'll be ok the shortlist for all of them.

While I normally like to make fun of Souths I will not here. I have met Michael Maguire a few times and he is a terrific man and a hell of a coach too. He was South's best signing in many years. What ever he does next I wish him all the best.
The stories I have been hearing is that Anthony Seibold white anted him.
I also wonder how much Richardson's stench in on this too.

A shame, because he still has a lot to offer in the NRL - Bulldogs, Warriors or Titans could do with a coach of his ability.

Yep, apparrently the Warrington Wolves are very interested.The club's owner, Simon Moran, holds Maguire in high regard. Financially Moran leaves Rusty looking like a pawper by comparison.

If the Bulldogs sack Des, I can see them going with either Pay or Dymock. They won't go with another "outsider".
