I hope the club pays jyes fine,it wasnt a classic hop drop,he tackled him from behind and landed on his legs,he shouldnt have copped anything, its a farce.
On another note, we definately need 2 big props, even cheese will not make a difference if there is no go forward, which has been evident our last 3 games, our defence, whilst better than last year, needs to move up faster, and this dropping off tackles is laughable
Agree completely about Gray.

More than getting more size, we need to work on getting better at playing faster. I don't mean running speed, I mean speed of play in the rucks. It starts with winning the wrestle, then getting to your feet quicker than the opposition whether you've got the ball or not. The best sides are the best at that and it's been happening for years. Melbourne and Bellamy in particular have changed the game forever. Penrith had become the best at it this decade and now Cronulla are following suit.

Meanwhile, we get smashed in the rucks and beaten by the speed of play in the play the ball regularly. It's never really been a Wayne Bennett thing and is probably why he hasn't claimed a premiership ring since 2006. That's 19 years this year and counting.

Doesn't matter if we have more big guys like Tom Burgess or whoever if they are running into a defensive line that has fast line speed and catches you before you can wind up. Meanwhile, when defending, the team is back pedalling from allowing quick play the balls and have no chance to mount any line speed ourselves and then get caught offside out of frustration.

That's where the game is. At the play the ball and the speed of play. Cronulla dominated our opening set immediately yesterday on the back of their speed of play knowing full well we aren't one of the sides like Penrith or Melbourne that can do the same thing or even that caper up. Now the Bulldogs too with their quartet of mixed martial arts instructors that Ciraldo brought over from Penrith putting them up into finals contention with their defence and ruck work.

We're not in the comp until we master those dark arts on the ground and in the rucks. Like it or lump it and changing personnel is not the sole solution. However, getting players from sides like Melbourne like Smith can help teach the rest of the blokes to improve on those dark arts as they call them.

We all thought it was Wayne that brought Humph here and Ello that brought Dodd but apprently it was Ello for both. Ello cops a lot of flack but credit where credit's due - he had been chasing Humphreys for 2 seasons before finally getting his man.

You can't win 'em all but similarly, you can't get 'em all wrong either. Well done Ello on this one.

anyone think that Davy Moale offers absolutely nothing ? im actually thinking that he might not get re-signed.

No punch in attack and no sting in defence i think this week i would start with tatola

Arrow has been a shadow of himself looks way to skinny, needs to bulk back up.

Duncan has been terrible also to start the year. Liam Le blanc is actually starting to creep up ahead of him.

Agree totally, mate.
And I would get rid of Havili in the blink of an eye as well, He brings nothing to the side.
There is no 'oomph' in the side at all. Time to do some 'slash and burn' with the team roster I'm afraid.
