All good, as you guys know, apart from game day duties, he’s been a tireless and relentless worker for charities, visited a zillion sick kids in hospital and not once has he ever asked for anything in return.

I saw him walking into a game once with a huge bloke carrying his kit. He was cool as you like.

But when he gets out of his human costume and leads your boys out, as you say:

He’s an bloody inspiration.

If he got sacked for belting an impetuous and rude kid ( himself a product of his deranged parents), then it’s rivers of blood all the way to Chalmers st.

As much as there is this supposed hatred between Souths and Easts, I find that the Easts supporters I know view us as a rival but ultimately respect us as a fellow Foundation Club and acknowledge our place as the No. 1 team in terms of Premierships. Then you have teams like Cronulla who have a measly lone Premiership in nearly 6 decades of existence and who slithered off to join Super League at the first chance.
