So because Farrah is having issues with Taylor and Taylor has put him in nsw cup to piss him off literally your bland enough to go with that are you hey
He's the nsw origin hooker wake up mate
And I don't give a f.. About what some gronk is saying on social media
I asked you have you ever watched these 3 play
Don't bother replying if ur going to give more dribble
Have watched all 3 play.
Farah was good about 5 years ago. Makes origin on reputation alone. Was dropped due to bad form Hasn't had a good nrl game in 2 years.
Fensom tackles his heart out, but that's about it. Lacks impact in his tackles, has zero running game. Will become the new tyrrell if he joins us.
Vaughan is a good up and coming front rower but is down on form this year. The only one of these 3 worth the risk

I'm interested as to what exactly is "our style of play"?

Every team likes to roll forward, get quick play the balls to make good yardage, or get a repeat set via a penalty.

I've also been amused all year by the comments by various people that "madge has no Plan B ".

Our poor performance this year has been due to poor handling, poor discipline (penalties), missed tackles and injuries not because of any game plan by the Coach or our "style" of play.

The last 2 weeks we proved if we get these areas right, we can win games and I think that can happen whether we have cook,McInnes or Farrah in the 9.

When you're down by 20 pts or so in a game, as a coach, you should have some flexibility to change your approach, within that game, to a more creative, expansive one. If a team wants to win in this situation a Plan B,as such,is probably required.

Madge hasn't really displayed an inkling of change for a long time--since he's been in charge,in fact!!

Sths players have been given some leeway to be more human[less robotic] & to play more creatively in the past couple of weeks & it has worked wonders. We are not so predictable now!!

Sadly the horse has well & truly bolted though!!

Personally I think we have been able to stray away from the normal bash and barge approach at times this year. Maguire is still a young coach and knows what he is doing.

So Souths are 14th in NRL, Bears are 10th out of 12 in the NSW Cup and Souths U20s are 15th. Yet with the re-signing of Clark there looks to be no clean out at Souths

Souths look set to suffer the same fate as the Tigers and Dragons after they won their premierships in 2005 and 2010

Roosters on the other hand have leapt over Souths today on the NRL ladder and with their U20s team placed 3rd have some good young players coming through. With the signing of Keary I can see them being massive improvers in 2017 and right back in it

Roosters don't need Keary they have a young number 6 very similar to him already
He killed it in today's game what's that young kids name ,super fast as well

Thanks for your honest and open opinion on fensom, farrah and Vaughan Diego
What do you think of the Clark extension
Don't mind it. Cheap player, plugs holes, does a job while others are getting a rest/injured/suspended. At the very least you'll know what you are going to get with clark. Local product, loyal, seems well liked at the club.

If your down by 20 you need to be looking at your defence first and foremost.... then complete your own sets and build pressure.
Changing the game plan ain't gonna help if your leaking points.

Southport where did you read this? Is he playing at the moment? What can you tell us about him?

I read it on another forum, I don't know anything about him other than that he is highly regarded and parra fans are pissed that he is rumoured to have been poached, David Wright is another rumoured signing.

Interesting point to add is being that tonight is the last home game for the club, therewill be the announcement of departing players. Will keep it updated.

A team can be a reasonably successful one[see Panthers at present] & still play a brand of RL that's palatable;unlike Sths who have continued along with the same old drudgery & lack of originality;& without much success either!

It's blatantly obvious that Maguire lacks imagination which has become increasingly destructive to us over the longterm as other teams read our predictability like a good book!! We have been clearly over-structured. At the commencement of 2016 we were supposed to have one of the better rosters[on paper] but only one player in Walker has been a revelation. AR,with his kicking game ONLY,has shown glimpses!! I wonder how long Walker lasts if he gets too far out of the box??!!

Only one player, outside of GI, seems to have the nous & courage to run the ball with his mind ticking over creatively-- & that is Walker!!

AR's game is being controlled to the point where he must be at least somewhat unhappy--how long will he put up with this if he sees it as curtailing his career. Apparently a few clubs are prepared to offer him massive amounts before too long!!

In most games in 2016 Sths have been on the receiving end but have just continued on with the same old miserable,head-down arse-up & very dreary, stodgy routine. If it was a DVD you hired you'd return it & ask for your money back!!

SOUTHS MOVEMENT CONTINUES

Michael Maguire will continue to shake things up, hoping to introduce some fresh faces to complement the experience they already have.

Several players have been told they won’t be offered new deals, while a handful of others have been put on notice.

Dave Tyrrell is believed to be free to explore his options despite having a year to run on his contract, outside back Michael Oldfield will not be at the club next season but Hymel Hunt is likely to stay at Redfern.

Joining the Bunnies as a replacement for Dylan Walker in the off-season, 22-year-old Hunt impressed early in the season before tearing his pec.

The Kiwi product who has had stints with the Gold Coast and Melbourne, has since returned to the field to finish the season and is understood to be close to signing a contract extension.

Newcastle backrower Robbie Rochow will join the team next season after verbally agreeing to a one-year-deal, while the Rabbitohs have signed several outside backs from Penrith for 2017.

Under 20s gun Braidon Burns looks headed for Redfern, along with brothers George and Robert Jennings.

They have also snared Parramatta backrower and former junior Kangaroo Tyrell Fuimaono.
