Inglis - Russ
Sandow- wasn't allowed to go, he wanted to punt Sutton but realised we couldn't match the cash Parra offered so re-signed Sutton. Reynolds was injured all that year and had knee reconstruction (2011)
Luke - Mark Hughes
Te'o - Madge ( Madge told Dave Taylor to look elsewhere and got Te'o with Taylor's free'd up cash)
Tuquiri - Madge (Richo tried getting him for 2008 season but Tuqiri declined)
Auva'a - Madge ( From days at Melbourne)

Sutton - Was around before Richo
AJ, Walker,Reynolds, Clark are all Juniors. Richo didn't recruit them.

In 2008 Richo spruked that he had signed Lewis and Hayne. Both reneged.
Lewis resigned with panthers, claiming his wife didn't want to move as one of her parents was ill.
Hayne resigned with eels got shot at at kings cross, played for Fiji in World Cup, then had his best year ever in 2009 and won dally m medal

Never said we had signed Hayne,not much he could do about Lewis it was actually Crowe who Granted him the release.

Obviously he needed Crowes help to get the big names,as most ceos would.Nearly all ceos have recruited as many duds as guns if you go through them all,look at Phil Gould,hes achieved stuff all with all the players hes brought for penrith so far.
Richo is a bit of bs artist who talks it up,but hes not as bad as you make out.

Richo was massive in turning the clubs fortunes around but none of that really had anything to do with recruitment. Cant expect him to suddenly change it up here.

Makes sense.
Type of player Madge loves. Reminds a bit of Ben Te'o they way he plays.
Also with Grevsmuhl going to Panthers and Sutton likely to be his last year us, makes a genuine replacement.

Yeah Richo isn't brilliant.

He will do a good job again though.
