"JOHN PAUL CHERRY AND MARK LENNON FACE FITNESS TESTS FOR SEMI FINAL CLASH WITH COUGARS
Inspirational skipper John Paul Cherry and fullback Mark Lennon face fitness tests but have been included in a 23 man squad for Sunday's Aussie Stadium semi final elimination clash with the St.Marys Cougars.

Cherry has a rib and shoulder problem which has had him sidelined for the last three weeks while Lennon has been out for five weeks with a hamstring injury.

Both will be checked at training later this week before coach Geoff Toovey names his run on side.

Cherry will play five eighth and Lennon at fullback if both are passed fit.

However, several selected players are also racing the clock to be fit for the match. These include centres Robert Toshak and Paul Stephenson.

Toovey said it was unlikely he would settle on a side until later in the week.

The Premier League side named today is: Jared Taylor,Darren Peachey,Paul Stephenson,Robert Toshak,Mitch Creary,Jeff Robson,Clint Halden,Ian Donnelly,Nathan Hollingsworth,Nick Paterson,Phil Moorwood,Kane Cleal,Glenn Stewart.Replacements: Sam Murphy,J.P.Cherry,Jason Commisso,Ben Smith,Adam Cuthbertson,Sean Dalton,Nathan Tutt,Brett Ryan,Jordan Macey,Mark Lennon.

The side play St.Marys Cougars at 1.35 p.m. on Sunday at Aussie Stadium prior to the Storm v Bulldogs NRL clash."
