Any RATM fans here?

Yer, listen...I'm compiling a list here online of Rage against the Machine songs and I need any fans of the band to recommend me any good songs of theirs.

What songs should be added to my download?

I haven't got much time.

I've got the usual songs already like Killing in the name of and Sleep now in the fire.

What are some other goodies or gems?

Quickly.

RATM's Matrix theme sounds a bit like Led Zepelin's hit.
Just the start there.

Yeah, they've only got 4 albums so may as well just get them.

All very good.

I 'll say it.
(As a white boy from the burbs of Sydney)
That Zac dude the singer?
Can get a little whiney after an hour of it.... that "whole rap thing...??.

The music is top shelf though.
KITNO is pretty much a masterpiece in building a crescendo.

Audio slave?
Had some great songs.
"Like a stone" was simple and brilliant.

I took this pic in Vietnam a few years ago.
It is the car in the pic.

RATM, i'd kinda have to agree, but since i havent listened to em in a while im not finding him annoying yet. But the music is top notch.

"I am the Highway" is another good Audioslave one, as is "Gasoline"... On a side topic with them, i read in an interview somewhere that the only way they found out Chris Cornell had left the band was through reading an interview of his in a mag or something, apparently he didn't even tell em, not sure how true that is though.

I agree with all their albums being good.

But you can't go past the first s/t album. Absolute quality album - timeless too.

Maggie's Farm is a great cover off renegades too...

The problem with RATM is that after a while their sh*t all sounds the same.
They have the same introductory sounds before a song....he does the go quiet, then blast it out loud, like Limp Bizkit, too much - and the guitar sounds with every song have that touch you know its them.
Their need to diversify with their sound it sounds all the same.
And I don't like how he talks/raps like M+M.
He's not actually singing he's talking fast and it's not quite right.

I only like 3 of their songs.
Killing in the name of.
Pistol grip pump.
Sleep now in the fire.

And is the lead singer a black guy or a white guy?
I don't like what they're about or their message either.

Zach De La Rocha is somewhere in the middle, a Mexican.

Chris Cornell is a f*ckwit. I caught a glimpse of him on Letterman the other night and wow his voice has gotten even worse.
