So much for the loyalty card, its all about money these days good to see what comes around goes around in the NRL.

Raiders lose Milford who they made and Tigers lose Tedesco both teams no reward for development.

The Canberra Raiders are pleased to announce the signing of rising star James Tedesco on a three year contract from the beginning of the 2015 season.

Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner said the signing of Tedesco was a marquee one for the club and said the Raiders had been following his progress though his junior years and were thrilled to have him sign with the Raiders.

“James is an outstanding young talent who we see as a big signing for the Raiders and we look forward to him joining the club at the beginning of the 2015 season,” Furner said. “The Raiders have followed James’ progress from his days at St Gregory’s College Campbelltown and we know being from Camden, James will fit into the lifestyle and culture here in Canberra.”

“We wish him a successful season for the remainder of 2014 with the Wests Tigers and look forward to him joining us for pre-season 2015.”

Feel terrible for the Tigers, but what an exciting signing for us.

Biggest signing in some time.

Kevin Locke should of gone to the Tigers… Feel for Tigers fans, stand by a junior through injuries for him to sign elsewhere. Ouch

Revenge for Jamal Lolesi.

More must be coming to the Raiders IMO. He is just the beginning.

I'm stoked. But I'm not going to be a merkin about it. This sucks for the tigers.
Looking forward to 2015

I feel for the Tigers, but we've been getting kicked in the nuts for years by poachers who go for players we develop. Doesn't often happen the other way.

Not at all.

The money being talked about here is madness. Tigers have dodged a massive bullet by not matching the raiders price IMO.

Its pretty clear to see from early in the season the kid could be anything and is a great fullback in the making, when ever he touched the ball tigers looked like scoring.

He is much like Hayne a player you can build a team around what the raiders are looking to do.

One has to wonder what the Tigers are doing with their cap if they can't afford to at least get close to whatever it was the Raiders offered. Where's all their money going apart from the obvious couple of guys?

Tedesco's made of glass. Reckon he'll spend way more time watching from the stands than playing.
