Random Mafia VII: The Mafia (Players) Strike Back!
Twenty five of them gathered amidst the mist choked monoliths of Stone Henge. The day's first rays of sun peeked over the distant hills and cast the clouds above them in blood red and fiery orange.
"I have brought you here today," intoned their host, "To address a situation of global concern".
They turned to one another and muttered in hushed tones. He silenced them with a wave of his hands.
"I have learned," he continued, "That there are multiple factions at play who would unseat the very world as we know it".
Startled gasps.
"Worse," he pressed on, "There are those who would see mafia as we know it forever destroyed!"
Outrage! The crowd seethed.
"Fear not. I have a plan. Using this device, I have arranged for us to be bounced around the world as we try to find the threats to our safety. We will find them and we will destroy them, just as we have since time immemorial"
He brandished the strange device with a wild smile. They had seen it before. It looks like venues had been brought back into play.
"Now..." he continued, but he never finished his thought.
Almost at once, a bullet took him in between the eyes and a shadowy figure clubbed him to death with some kind of weapon.
