Mason was badmouthing Hadley at the Liverpool function this week, in front of the media and other folks... Hadley apparently made an official complaint about it to the NRL

That's disgraceful
Hadley makes a living badmouthing people and he throws a hissy fit when Mason expresses an opinion
I dont know what he expects the NRL to do, are they the thought police now?

It's particularly hypocritical given what Hadley has said in the past about Mason
It's like Steve Price: he spends half his day whingeing on air about people being idiots etc and is the first to slap a lawsuit on someone who mentions his name

Good points ShireShark. Hadley shouldn't be immuned to criticism, if he's prepared to give it.

Unfortunately, this incident was at a 2GB SOO promotion, which complicates things a bit, seeing as 2GB are the sole commercial rights owners for the NRL.

They need to be pandered to by the NRL

You make a fair point however it is not one that Hadley subscribes to himself.

He abuses the TV rights holders Channel 9 almost every day the Continuous Call team is on the air. Disgraceful, childish nonsense. Makes up songs about them and everything. Now I dont like Mason and I certainly dont like 9. But if Hadley is going to attempt to humiliate them on a weekly basis he shouldnt expect them to cop it and ask for more.

2GB went on all day about the disgustingly offensive pictures supposedly drawn by Mason. When shown to the media last night they turned out to be nothing but inoffensive doodling.

Maybe it was Mason's 2GB comment which was the problem.
