I remember reading some old RLW mag (from around '96 I think). Apparently, there was a bit of controversy involving Ray Warren. You know how there has been talk about Wayne Pearce commentating in games involving the Sydney Roosters (as his son Mitchell plays for them)? Well, in the early 90s when Ray Warren's son Chris use to play for Western Suburbs, there was controversy involving Ray, as it was deemed that Ray was extremely biased towards the Magpies whenever he called Magpies games (I dont know how much validity there is to that claim, as I don't know how often Magpies were shown on tv back then). Does anyone know/or can elaborate on this? (as I was only 9 yrs old in '96)? Also, in 2003 (in the Sun-Herald newspaper), there was an article written in regards to both Ray and Chris (there was some sort of falling out between both of them as a result of Chris not being picked by Parramatta, when Rabs was a Parra supporter at the time, something along those lines), but Im pretty sure it wasn't related to the RLW article.
Also, does anyone remember Chris Warren? Was he a good player? Does he share any resemblance to his father (like, he looks etc.)?
