Let's just enjoy the year, most didn't even expect us to be in the running for the top eight. And we 6 rounds left, we have the top 8 in sight still.

We are only going to get better as side over the next 2-3 years

This post has too much sense going for it.

As great as that was to see an Eels win it is going to be a much harder hill to climb against teams higher than us on the ladder to reach the 8. I thought we just played ourselves away from home tonight. However, I did enjoy that win.

harder hill teams higher on the ladder than us? 4 of our 6 games left are against the bottom 4 sides - sharks, raiders x 2, knights

we win those 4 we are in the 8

Special mention to Kenny Edwards, gee he is a smart tough footballer. He is striking up a nice combo with Norman.

Hoppa will only improve with match fitness
Edwards was solid and held it together when tits threatened to get away. Really should have a try assist credit to his name , Semi let him down.
Sef Paulo still offers nothing.
Sandow brought his fave kicking tee but jeez the field goal was really a brain snap
Hayne of course , nothing more to be said.....

If we win the 4 games against the bottom 3 sides, we make the Top 8. Pure and Simple.

If we don't make the Top 8 from here then the players and the team have no one but themselves to blame.

Yes, I know who we play. All I am saying is that we will be lucky to make the 8 based on how we have played this season. Manly at home will be the litmus test.

I'm not sure 1 win is good form.

Neither team was great tonight, but neither team was that bad either. It was a close contest, with The Plane the difference.

Well top 5 teams in front of us roosters/Penrith both lost to sides in the bottom 3 yet we defeated a side one win from the top eight. It is a crazy comp

For and against is our issue, I can see 28 points being eight spot and us getting three more wins. But still
missing out

But really, just nice to get a win. And to see some repeat sets.

Hayne was right tho in the after-game interview when he said they couldn't win playing like that against the better teams. While I'm on Hayne, some great stuff in the second half but I wish he'd celebrate with the team, not running to the crowd for accolades. There's some decent research I believe that celebrating with your team first leads to more success.
