I thought BS was pretty good. With the ball he got it where it needed to be mostly and he was great without it, he made a few very good tackles and reads to be in position to make them.

I thought Mitch Kenny was great last night. I’d say it was his best game for the year, just kept it simple in attack.

I also thought Liam Henry was great off the bench.

It’s a low bar to be fair, but he did what he needed to. The big tick is defence, a try saved is as good as one scored.

I don’t think anything is confirmed, just talk that he will be leaving early for a better deal. Happy for him to make bank, but would love him to stay.

Honestly; keep Garner at Penrith for another season and then give him to us for the pay day.

Currently watching the replay after being at the game last night and I can only recall Schneider missing one tackle. I haven't looked at the stats but if they say more misses it wasn't noticeable. He was solid again.

Talagi - 82%
Edwards - 77%
Schneider- 77%
Bizza - 66%
Jenkins - 62%
McLean - 61%

Thankfully we scrambled well and didnt cost us on scoreboard. Our forwards all had 80%+ stats. Moses Leota had 100% tackle rate. Lindsay Smith and Liam Henry both had 95%+.

Great to see our front rowers lifting when we need them to.

BS controlled the tempo of the game, didn’t over play his hand and was involved in a few big plays both with ball and in defence. Great game for a back up half without a bunch of our best players. The undeserved criticism he gets from some is the getting to Mansour 2020 levels.

I thought he perhaps had one of his best games in a Penrith jersey. I think with the improvement of Blaize in the last couple of months. Brad only had to worry about doing his job, and not 'babysit' Blaize.

Yeah he kicks them higher than Cleary/Schneider and doesn't even look to be trying that hard.

I've now looked at the NRL stats and the guy who did the missed tackle count was obviously smoking some good stuff.

We are back to gang tackling with 3 in the tackle the norm, so every player bar Moses and Cole apparently missing tackles is harsh marking.

Reading the missed tackle count without watching the game and you would think Souffs made 20 line breaks.

But who are we punters to question obviously padded stats to make old Wayne feel better...
