Quite a few sides have either used only 16 players or put the 17th player on for a token appearance after the game is gone , in the 1st two rounds. Canterbury only used 16 against Penrith.

They are treating the 17th man as a replacement rather than an interchange - so they are not rotating 4 players over 8 interchanges , only 3 , leaving the 4th as a fresh reserve.

Hope D Fifita plays the same way he did v dragons. Would be nice to rumble some poor team with 2 x Fifitas in good form starting.

Not sure about Beale on bench. Luetele has improved defensively since the trials I guess he is the weakest link at the moment.

I'd be giving Lewis a bit more of a break. As good as he is he does look pretty shot at times out there.

Most teams seem to have the 4th interchange doing 15 mins or less, if Flanno believes the forwards can cope with the minutes they have to do i am fine with it.

Having Beale has interchange option it does give us duel purpose if a back is having a shocker he can come on, and also if anyone get injured in backline easy replacement instead of use putting Graham or Lewis out there which looking at how we are starting to attack will actually slow down any movement that side of field
