I think of juniors like carrots... grow a big crop and choose which ones you put on the dinner plate (play NRL for you), put in a stew (play Reggies) or feed to the horse (release to other clubs).
Simple.
And I only talk in facts and am right 85% of the time.
Yep. Offer then what you think they're worth. Clubs like the Tigers will offer some of them overs and they won't hang around. Try again next year.

It's worth noting we still have quite a few in our squad who played in our junior teams. Quite a few have left. A few even left and came back.

I think that last 2yrs our junior development has been ok. I imagine we will bring a few more next season. I dont see point bringing to many cause you need some older players so would just develop them for other clubs. 2 or 3 juniors a year would be excellent.
How's our Kellyville Centre Of Excellence going?

If they're going to other clubs there's a fair chance they're not happy with unders. I suspect the cat is out of the bag these days. The cheap juniors ship has sailed somewhat.

Juniors seem to bond with fans more and the best way to build a team is with guys who stick together. A great way is if they played juniors together.
Juniors are important for the face of a club.

Load of crap. Fans have really bonded well with our longest serving player and junior Penis Terepo.

Fans bond well to good players.

Well my favourite players tend to be juniors.
I'd never bond with Blake , MJ or Fergo.... But D.Brown,Mahoney,Kafusi,Stone are 4 of my favourite players. Its interesting wathcing them develop and seeing if they will make it. Far more interesting then buying a ready made star.

Or the Roosters come along in the middle of the night and dig them up while you are asleep.
