Mahoney was the nail in coffin.
We should scored and went in 14-12 or ast worse held at 14-6 score and comeback in 2nd half.

I agree.

As our dominant playmaker, he has released a lot of the pressure on the Sharks with some awful options tonight.

It's a little concerning, because we are relying on an [admittedly gun] 18-year old half to take control of this team...

Classic Parraball. Throw nothing at them in attack, give them a 7 tackle set and let in an try.

The effort is there. They’re showing some fight but we are just so dumb. A good kicking game would transform this side I reckon.

So.. you’d suggest we sign a good half ?

I find it embarrasing that what is costing us is simple things.
Surely the coach can iron out this garbage. You tell the half if no ball, slow game down and find touch ffs.
At 14 -6 with 1.10 to go they had to see that its time to hold a 14-6 lead. Could of givena pematly when had sharks on aideline and 25 seconds to go. Like storm would. Let them take 2 from sideline or set defense and get 1 tackle.

Once again, the refs are f**king clueless. That was a knock on every day of the week on the run it was blatantly obvious on the TV but the dodgy refs miss it AGAIN!!!!!

Now isolated incidents i get but week after week we see the same massive f**k ups against us from the refs.

If we were getting those same benefits i'd be ok with it but it is one sided and has been for quite some time now.

I might start being really terrible at my job and see if i can keep it as long as this merkins!

To be fair plenty of our players have been terrible at their job too and manage to keep getting contracts

The tone was set with the first set of 6, imo - Gallen went to offload, loses the ball...but gets awarded a penalty?

The NRL refs are infuriatingly inconsistent.

Having said that, we are reaping what we sowed, in terms of shithouse kicking options, and we deserve to be behind.
