This is my take.

The first ten minutes we where sloppy then clicked into gear.
In the 2nd half we where very poor and sloppy for the first 20 mins. Then kicked into gear again.
I'd we put in a full 80 I reckon we scored 70+ tonight.

Gutherson was electric and great tonsee his form is back. He looked cooked to me. Sublime performance. RCG,Lane, Sivo,Brown,Moses all huge. Sivo is in the best condition I've seen him.
Matto,Jnr,Papali'i ,Marata,Kafusi without being excellent had solid games. Players need to follow Matterson more. He is always looking to offload.

Weaknesses-

Opacic is a slug but a footballer. His brain I'm Waqas body would be a great player.
Waqa I worry can drop the ball at any time. Overall he was quite good but with some dumb moments.

Penisini had a solid game. Still unsure how good this kid will be. Last year I thought he is future origin material. I'm not so sure now but he is a good player either way.

Bench -
Kafusi ran with punch. Makatao I just don't get. Such a slug. I hope come finals N.Brown/Bryce take his spot.
JA didn't get much of a chance but as much as I don't rate him that highly maybe carrying him is a safe idea. Look at Reynolds HIA. Imagine we coped that in a finals game. You'd be screwed if no half/ utility on bench.
Maybe 3 forwards and JA isn't the worse.

Bryce in a game like yesterday has a field day. Shame BA isn't getting him into this outfit.


Mahoney - He ran a few times last night in a game we dominated hard. It was like watching a turtle. The more I watch him the more I am not fussed he is leaving. His run games worse then MK. He rarely puts a kick in. His tackling solid but gets bounced back easily. His strength is crisp passes and picking which way to go. But overall he is very limited as a player. Imagine what Rein does in a game like yesterday with all the space our forwards created.

Final comment -

Good win. But plenty of room for inprovement still. Reduce the simple errors and we can have a good finals run.
A real f**king shame we didn't snag Lodge or Klemmer. Having that off bench for 25mins instead of Makatoa? We would be another level again. Keeping my fingers crossed N.Brown and Bryce come into side.

On Brisbane hasn't their season gone sour. Tigers,Parra,Storm all wiped their arses when a top 4 spot was looking good.
Canberra now can leapfrog them if their thrashings based on for and against. I have a bad feeling Manly might show up. I hope not. I hope Canberra win by 30. That would make things very tough for Brisbane.

I still think canberra might lose one of their games .... but the way brisbane are going they might lose next week,too and canberra will still get in
