We're weird.

We produce child prodigies, sell them (well let them go at a smittance) and then resign them.

Hmmmm..

Wade
Chad
Grothe
PJ (Please.....)

Buettner
Dallas Weston
Jason Bell
Penna

Kusto (Not sure if he played for us twice)

So can't wait till we resign CROUCH.

THere's probably more....

Kusto played for us twice, except he was on f**king up match payments in which the more stuff up's he did the more money he got, definetly a Fitzy incentive

Yes, that would be nice

Jason back from the Roosters
and Ian back from the Raiders

Would cap off getting Robinson, Grothe and possibly PJ back.

I heard a rumour that if Armit is not released the doggies are going after a former Parra Northern Districts player known only as strider.

We already did re-sign Crouch. Last year was his second spell for us, after having left to play for Wests Tigers.

  ....thats right - look out NRL, the 30kg over weight 33 yr old is making a comeback.

My other claim to fame is that I played footy with Andy Raymond, the foxtel commentator......wow - the name dropping never ceases  .

It's actually not that bad a policy if there was some way to come to an agreement that they would return after an agreed spell away. It would be very similar to the soccer loaning policies in Europe, whereby fringe players get first team experience at a club that has less depth. The only prob is the salary cap, which would significantly hinder the process.

When you look at many of the players who have left it is generally becuase they feel that their is limited potential to get a start in first grade in front of the regular positional holder.

Tonga is perfect example, taking less money with the dogs but thought he had more potential to get a look in then against 2 international centres at Parra.

How we wish he would come back to the mighty Eels now!! :D

Buettner is retiring and will help coach one of the lower grade sides for the Tigers so you'd have to cross him out from your list

Buettner was on the list because he had already left the club and then returned.

In between his Parra years, he spent time at Norths and the Northern Eagles.

He wasn't on the list because someone thought he was coming back to Parra.
