Nothing like settling down for a few hours on the weekend and watch some sport to take your mind of things. It will help morale lift even if you can’t go.

Penrith should be one of the few grounds used so at least we get some home games
You think we would be allowed to play in Penrith? I think the NRL would determine that we shouldn't play at home if it doesn't fall on a away game. In England, the FA has stated that all games will proceed without crowds, but at a neutral venue.

looking at the bio security measures needed I see Bankwest, Penrith, Campbelltown and one other being used. Whether they let us use Penrith or not would be the question

There’s a lot that can happen between now and the proposed restart on May 28th.

Hopefully we have seen the last of the blatant flouting of the rules/laws even if we have only seen the tip of the iceberg, those knuckleheads stupid enough the capture there non compliance on camera’s etc.

It is alot easier to follow strict rules in a team situation then left to their own devices

That maybe so but given the stakes it is unfathomable he could be so stupid. I’m sorry but I just don’t get the stupidity. Given my wife and I have been really conscious of doing the right thing to see these guys acting in such a manner is very sad. There arrogance in these difficult times is mind blowing and indefensible in my opinion.

As I said before at 22 most people would do stupid things in that same situation. I am going crazy myself and have a job to go to each day. Kids to keep me busy when not at work. So I can understand stupid lapses in judgement by all those people found flaunting the rules.

Getting back to normally will do everyone the world of good players included

I understand your point of view, I really do, but there is NO excuse. He was a boof head and should have been punished accordingly. I wonder the reaction to all of this if Gould was still at the helm, would your views and the views of the Gould haters been different.

If a 22 year old tradie did the same would their employer punish them? So Gus being here or not has nothing to do with it. It goes to a fair punishment. The fact they are lighter in back pocket is more then 99.9% of people get and is probably fair enough

Walsh was the size of a small ferret, but I don't know what Bryce's excuse is.

Sure but I've watched both of them move out of the way of attackers.

I remember one from Walsh. It was 1m out from the try line, literally sidestepped the backrower to allow a try. Scoreboard end at Penrith. Anyone remember the game?

Take a stab at your worst defensive 13

Darius 'Last Line' Boyd
Adrian Purtell
Paul Franze
Dale Copley
Roy Bell
James Maloney
Luke Walsh
Aaron Woods
Bryce Cartwright

Struggling with forwards actually. The guys in the middle can usually defend but statistically some would be far worse. And some of the other guys can tackle but effort wise they deserve their place.

I remember the incident. I cant recall who we played, mostly just being disgusted at the effort.

Carty wouldn't haven't imagined in ever leaving Penrith. I'm sure he is still scarred by the move and still finds it hard to play away from the club h grew up with.
