yep fantastic, now lets lobby for a home semi, who cares if we lost more than we won to make the 8? we are the oldest club in the league and are owed that right

I was there, my first time to Henson Park. I had a great time. Great crowd there, what do you reckon the attendance was? 2500 or so? I heard what was announced over the PA, but I'm not sure if that was quite on the money ;-)

Yeah I reckon the crowd was about 2,500.

For your info as you are new, the ground announcer, announces the crowd as 8972 every week. It's a ruuning joke! It's a good way to get a few beers off new people when guessing the crowd!

2500 - must have been a big day! - several times in the 70s & 80's the Jets didn't get that many back in the "Big League" days. Great to hear - I will have to try to get up to Henson for reunion day at least next year.

Good luck in the finals - I'm sure there'll be quite a few of you dusting off the UBDs and trying to find the Bulls ground (or even Bass Hill for that matter...)
