Real Nasty Adrian Morley Article

I was in Melbourne on Monday night and while watching a bad comedy routine in a pub I picked up a fre publication that claims to be one of the premier British/backpacker magazines in Australia... it seems it is available at most cheap hostels, and elsewhere, throughout Australia...

I found this in the magazine which they have also put on their site.. I remember a few years back reading some of the most anti-RL stuff ever in a backpacker magazine in Oz... I'm not sure if this is the same publication.

League: Adrian Morley’s unsuccessful spell in the NRL could be at an end after the Great Britain front rower was sent off while playing for the Sydney Roosters. Morley, 29, was dismissed for viciously kneeing an opponent in his side’s 25-0 defeat by Canterbury Bulldogs. Still in a big sulk, Morley refused to comment after the match but Roosters coach Ricky Stuart put the player’s action down to the club’s woeful season. Stuart said: “It was an act of frustration, frustration about the way we’re playing. I’ll just wait and see what happens with the judiciary.” His wife must have a hard time if that’s how he deals with his frustration.

If you found the comments contained in that media article to be 'real nasty' than I find it hard to comprehend how you would react to comments that are actually derogatory or as you would put it 'really, really, really nasty'.

You'll find the "jokes" of this quality are lacking in their union coverage..

In the end it is a tad harsh but it did come from a British source so it is a bit rich to expect anything but bias drivel.

Sometimes life isn't about league vs union mate. I hate union/AFL/Soccer as much as the next person - but I can still have a laugh at league's expense from time to time.

When Jason Hetherington was on the footy show all those years ago he made a great joke along the similar lines. They were talking about how good a kicker Darrel Halligan was and Hetherington mad the comment "you glad you're not his dog".

Did you get all up-tight about this reference to animal cruelty? If so, well, there really is no hope for you.
