-2 scraping home in disgraceful games with drop ball everywhere (cronulla and Cowboys)

-2 against woefully inept teams at the time in Parra and Warriors

-2 against understrength sides in Bulldogs and canberra

Am i reading to much into this cause what the hell is going on

i've been saying that all year ... our defense has been woeful all year ... we were lucky in that Canterbury game but we werent too lucky the last two weeks

I know the last 2 weeks have just ruined what im about to say but im pretty sure we had the 4th or 5th best defence before the St George game.Our attack had been gelling nicely.Our good form and bad form has coincided with the return and loss of Benji Marshall.Some complain he isnt ready for first grade but you cant deny the impact he has for our team and the fear he puts into opposition defenses.

Our defense has NOT been woeful all year.

At round 14 we were the third best defensive team in the comp as far as points against went.


An average of 18.9 points per game

These last two blow-outs has seen our avg points against go to 23.4 per game.
