The Committee would like to announce that following our recent General Meeting held on Thursday 10th May 2012 at the Kogarah Hotel, members of the association have unanimously voted in favour of a name change. The association will now be officially known from this moment on as the Dragons Supporters Association.
A motion was raised over 21 days ago by one of our members to change our association name from Red V Ultras to Dragons Supporters Association.
Strong support for a name change was widespread throughout the entire membership base. As a result, the committee called a general meeting to ultimately allow members to have their say and give them all the opportunity to vote on the proposed alteration to the name of the association.
The committee is pleased that the issue is now resolved and that the overwhelming majority of members were pleased with the outcome. Furthermore, this result will allow the association to achieve the objectives at hand in a far more timely manner. We look forward to your continued support of the Dragons Supporters Association.
Some changes are being made to the website name and the twitter account. The new website will be changed to www.stgidsa.org and the twitter account will be known as @stgidsa. Once the website change takes full effect the email address will change to [email protected]
The scarf has now been ordered and we anticipate the delivery time to be approximately 3 weeks. This delay was caused due to the name change. I have provided an image of the new design. We apologize for delay and thank you for your patience.
