The Manly Sea Eagles have received a timely lift as the charge to the finals accelerates with the announcement of a new playing shorts sponsor in North Sydney based building construction company REED Constructions.
REED Constructions will appear on the playing shorts of the Sea Eagles for the first time in Sunday's vital clash with the North Queensland Cowboys at Brookvale Oval.
Manly C.E.O. Patrick Wilson said REED Constructions was a welcome addition to the Sea Eagles growing corporate business partners.
"Like the Sea Eagles, they are undergoing a significant growth period and they share similar goals - they will be with us for the remainder of the current season and for the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
"It is a significant sponsorship agreement and we have been in negotiations with REED for the past few months and the announcement comes on the back of recent exciting news related to player signings. It signals an indication that the Sea Eagles are on the way up.
"We are very appreciative of REED Construction's support and look forward to working towards generating business benefits for their organisation," Mr Wilson said.
Head coach Des Hasler attended the announcement of the sponsorship to REED Construction employees last Friday night together with Patrick Wilson, the owner and Managing Director Geoff Reed and General Manager, Garth Graydon.
