Who will be the referees for the 3 competitions?
Of what nationalities is it possible to have referees other than Australian and British?
Which New Zealanders, which French, which Papuans, which from emerging countries?
Will there be other solutions to escape matches played by Australians refereed by Australians or french wheelchair team refereed by a frenchman ?

Also question about the laws applied during this World Cup, what will they be? All current NRL rules, international rules or a mix of both?

Easy question.

This will be held strictly under NRL rules, right down to every rule change.

Referees will be all Australian with a token Kiwi and a token Pom.

The International Rugby League had to hand the. WC to Australia so it could at least be held and the ARLC/NRL will make sure we know it..

The international Laws are for all levels of the game. Further competition-specific rules relating only to the IRL Rugby League World Cup 2026 will be announced in due course.
