To all you Panthers fans out there, I just want to say that your club as a whole, and especially the team that dons your colours now, are absolutely class and have my total respect.

Your club is run brilliantly, your team plays with passion and you the fans, are a credit to the club.

For the last 2 odd years weve had to sit here and listen to the Roosters crow (pardon the pun) about themselves and how they are the greatest and so on.

Then you come along. A team packed with Penrith juniors. A team that would die for each other on the paddock. A team that shuts up and lets the footy talk.

Your coach is a legend and deserves all the credit he gets. We have to sit down and read in the papers and forums by Roosters on how they have "revolutionised rugby league" and how there coach is a "master tactician", yet you, THE PREMIERS, kept quiet and kept plugging along.

The victory over the Roosters 2nite once again proved that they are no where near as good as they make them out to be, and you, the Penrith Panthers, a team built by the people of Penrith and not money hungry scum, have come good once again and defeated the muppets.

Your team is how I want my beloved Rabbitohs to be.

A great leagues club, a team full of juniors and go about doing what they do best.

All I have to say is that I am 22 years old now, but I can safely say that if I live to have grand children and they ask me of great teams gone by I will definetely mention this Panthers squad for more reasons than one.

An absolute credit to the game.

If we dont win it this year I truly hope its you lot.

Once again well done, and thank you for shutting up the Bondi scum.

Keep it up.

I have to say that I am extremely proud to be a panther fan. Putting into perspective and coming from my heart only...since around 85 being a panther fan has had its ups and downs. The years 90/91 will always be remembered with the fondest of memories. There were other years that were also memorable and we felt like something big was just around the corner. Then there were those years we just hung our head low and forced ourselves to look forward. It was those years that I believe have made me treasure the greatest moments as gold.

Bunny keep looking towards the future...your gold will come again.

I'm so proud to be a Panthers fan at the moment - not that I've never been ashamed (in fact, I never have, even in the dark days of '01), but I do too think that something big is about to happen out west, in the form of the Penrith Panthers.

You are also a great credit to your club, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to tell us how you feel.

And the way you described everything gave me goose bumps, because that is EXACTLY the way we feel about our boys.

And to hear it said by someone from another battling club where the joys have been few and far between, it makes it even more special. You know just how we felt through all those years when our club battled the bottom of the ladder and seeing as you are only 22, I'm sure that there will come a day when your club can hold the trophy aloft with pride too.

No-one except the Penrith club and the Penrith fans gave our guys a chance last year.......but they proved it can be done, and they proved it isn't a fluke........it's hard work and believing in each other, against all the knockers and against the odds.

Congrats on you win against the Sharks, and I hope you continue to do well.........just not against us ok ??? :lol:
