The Latrell match ban saga is a circus.
My gripe is what sort example is this setting for junior players and spectators.
It's a reoccurring event that players don't seem to give a shite.
Punishments don't seem to be a deterrent.
How many of you on LU can save up $20k in a year. Latrell appears to be treating the whole thing as a joke when there are a lot of Aussies struggling to pay ever increasing rent payments.
Latrell has let his supporters, team mates and supporters down, and what for? A couple of hours of head spins.

Plenty of former and current players love a cheeky line or three.
The part that shits me is that people let any idiot into the room and some scum bag then takes a pic or a video and before you know it the photo is back page news, said player then says how could they do this to me and the shit show carries on ad finitum

I agree Gordy but it shows you the amount of intelligence some people have not only for their habits but also the company they keep. The merkin taking the photo is an arsehole and certainly not a true friend.....however,
if morons want to take drugs, allegedly, behind closed doors and in the privacy of their own home then I could live with that. I don't agree with it but at least that way they don't tarnish our game nor set a bad example for my grandkids.
I'm no prude as I did some silly things growing up but then again I wasn't paid to keep my nose clean (no pun intended ha ha) nor was I a role model. All that changed when I became a parent and had a job that demanded a high level of responsibility.
When are these puppets going to take responsibility for their own actions and why does the NRL give the perception that it's ok by issuing pathetic punishments eg suspended fines and piss arse suspensions.

A new policy means Australia’s biggest sports will need to undergo major restructures of their boards or else risk being ineligible for government funding.

DETAILS 👉 bit.ly/3ToWvVv

Behind DT pay wall.
I wonder if this restructure is to improve clubs boards or is it to keep it in line with the changing of governance Eg NRLW.

Players will continue to do dumb shit because they are over Indulged, pampered little babies who can f**k up with little to no consequences as they as they are playing well.

And when they finish their often short careers they continue doing their dumb crab without all the accolades.
Some are smart and adventurous and put a lot of effort into another career like what Robbue Farah is doing.

Canterbury Bulldog Josh Addo-Carr tests positive to cocaine for second time

What's old Gould gonna say about this...I suggest he already knew.

PSA on WADA penalties for cocaine use:

Provided the player can prove use was “out of competition” a potential 4 year ban may be reduced to 1-3 months. “In competition” is from 11.59pm the night before a game, through to the end of that game.

I know that taking drugs at crutial times may have more influence on the outcome of the game, but it still paints a terrible picture to the youth.
It's sort of saying if you want to do it make sure it's at a good time.
With more celebrations to come, the NRL must stand firm in clamping down on drug use as there's been a few cases recently.

Didn't he recently re-sign with Manly for around $800k per season?

Unless Manly are covering the rest, this is BS surely.

According to ZT, we are full.

I haven't counted Matamua or Si Fainu.

Still think we are a FR short.

IMO, giving Doueihi another contract was a mistake.

I don't know if they cannot sign Tumeth? As he has a PO.
