Okay we were on the backfoot all day even when we were competitive in the 1st 20 - 30 minutes we were giving up ground to saints.
But the stats from our previous game this year showed exactly that, we give away more meters than any other NRL side.
The difference this week was our missed tackles and poor defence on the line ( Red Zone ) we proved against larger sides Broncos / Sharks / Cowboys that we can be competetive in the forwards for the eighty minutes. But we must control the ball. If any side with bigger forwards Penrith / Canberra etc....get more possetion than the 50% we are going to be in trouble with our current injuries taken into consideration.
The real trick here is not just getting a fair share of the ball but when we do get hold of the pill is PUTTING POINTS ON THE BOARD thus retaining the ball & giving ourselves a chance once again for field position.
We need to address our kicking game
We need to give Prince the ball when he is not under pressure and we need to chase all day on these kicks keep turning these big forwards around. I don't think It's the end of the world just yet but we need to hang tough until we get troops back I know we will go better at Leichardt so here's hoping.

But how do we make the easy yards out of our red zone that every team is able to achieve against us unless we get some tackle-busting back-rowers into the squad - or somehow exponentially increase the size and effectiveness of our front row???

And as for giving the ball to Prince when he is not under pressure - we need to be going forward to achieve that!! However - regardless of that Prince (like any elite halfback) has to learn to play under pressure and his kicking needs major work!!
