League didn't plunder Union. The extremely rare genuine footballer who turned up within their ranks couldn't wait to start playing real football and so came to league. It is still happening today.

Union isn't plundering league now or ever in the future. They sign a few players from league who are the least like real footballers (ie wingers). Even Lote hasn't been missed at all. For every winger we lose to union two more come through to fill the gap. ESL signs more league quality from us every year than Union will in the next century.
