Riddell on NRL on Fox

Just watched our new hooker on FOX. The host asked him if he knew about any other players the EELS were signing for next year. He smiled and just said wait until June 30. He appears to know something but wouldn't say. This proves 2 things. 1. The anti-tampering thing is a joke and 2. Smith would have had to tell him who will be there next year to entice him to come.

I believe we will announce more signings very soon say, July 1. Happy new financial year!!

Assuming Morris does play at 6. Sullivan would be perfect coming from the bench at doing a PJ Marsh when Pig gets tired. However Sullivan seems to want to play 7 and that is why he has not re-signed with the Sharks.

I think it's already been said Morris and Riddell will share duties from dummy half. I don't see the need for another hooker.

I'm expecting a 5/8 or 1/2 back to be named on the bench in #14.

When Riddell goes off
#14 goes into the halves with Morris shifting to hooker.

NOTE: Replace T.Smith with Dykes or Thorman if he leaves.

I think those 3 are highly unlikely.

Sullivan --> Dragons
Pritchard --> Roosters/Bunnies/Dragons

Thats what I've heard.

I think Morrison is a REAL possibility.

It has also been suggested (by GAME FIRST) that the outside back we are chasing as Lyon's replecement is currently under contract. Phil Graham's name has been mentioned but I'll throw another name up.......Shannon Hegarty. Might also be someone from overseas perhaps? Talau?

No mention of Dykes, now if he does know what is going on who is coming and so on then maybe he knows Dykes won't be here in 05

I think you're reading too much into it there, though it wouldn't surprise me to see him go. Riddell seemed like he trying to find positive things to say about Parramatta, and just muttered a few players that came to his head.

That may well be true but really with due respect to Wags, how many people would think of Wagon before Dykes when thinking of big name players at Parra??
