Tim Gilbert reported on Footy Show that Riddell has a broken thumb and will miss a month and Chad Robinson a broken finger.

yer thats what i though (because ive played with a broken thumb, hard to pass, but when its strapped no big deal). Not much you can do about a finger, takes a few weeks to heel thats it.

Fell sorry for Riddell, but this should ensure that Blake Green stays at 5/8 and Finch to the bench, or at the very least the other way around.

Blake Green will stay at Parra so long as the club wants him.
The ball is in our court. I have a feeling Hagan will have him re-signed soon

i would bring finch in for riddel off the bench and leave green\smith.

I wouldn't bring Finch in at all... leave him in PL, say the balls in your court now, show me what i know you do, or else stay here. Id have Mateo come into 5-8 and green into hooker when/if marsh comes off. This would give mateo more playing time, and marsh more playing time. Play 2 props (Cordoba, Cannings or Moi Moi) off the bench with 1 starting with cayless. Id also possibly promote Taia, or keep Fa'aosso off the bench.

I think you have more hand movement with a broken finger, I would imagine that it would be difficult to catch a ball with a broken thumb.

Tigers do why would you replace Farrah.. Same as melbourne, St George, Roosters,Warriors, Sea Eagles, Newcastle should but they use sue sue aswell now of the bench...

no i wouldnt play finch, because two 5-8/halfback in a game would unsettle a team mid game. I would not promote keating, i dont think his ready first yet. So i woudl start green at 5-8, and if marsh was unable to play 80min (which he should be able to), id play mateo at 5-8 and green at hooker. So many players move to hooker these days that are halves (there is no such thing as a specialist hooker any more) like Johns (rep footy), Monaghn, Farah (was a 5-8), budderous (was a 5-8) etc
