RIP one of the best refs ever

Sad to hear of the passing of Fred Lindop. Fred was the Bill Harrigan of his time in UK RL. Fred refereed the 1970 World Cup Final and 5 Challenge Cup Finals including the famous all Hull CC in 1980. He died aged 81.

RIP Fred...I remember him doing the 1982 series between Australia and NZ. He blew 47 penalties in the first test and yes you guessed it, the Aussies whinged!!
