My questions:
1) I thought there have been other sides playing internationals. Such as Japan, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Philippines, Thailand, Greece, UAE. Are those matches too recent or not recognised? Why no ranking? Certainly Japan and Greece have been around long enough to warrant inclusion.

2) Lebanon seems artificially low. Why is this. Lack of games recently?

Yay - 100th post!

Greece, UAE and Solomon Islands are yet to debut, Vanuatu are also technically yet to debut as AFAIK they have only played an Aussie-Greek rep side at this point. Japan haven't played any legit matches for years. I don't know about Thailand or Philippines but presumably that wasn't a RLIF sanctioned match.

Someone on this forum has been maintaining a linear ranking system, it hasn't been updated for a couple of months but I think it's still accurate. http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=392750

Thanks that's awesome. Sorry hadn't seen the other thread - was distracted at the time.

Maybe some of the games I recall were against other non-international teams. Maybe UAE vs a touring side.

Japan has pulled out of the Asian Cup.

There's no point adding us to the list because the game barely exists here.

Really? That's disappointing - I hadn't heard. Obviously with the lopsided two team comp, things weren't looking good. Think they'll still be able to send over a 9s team next year? I assume they actually come from Japan, or are they Aus based?

It will be interesting how the Auckland 9s go, and whether they include international sides in future years. Could be an opportunity for Japan if they are ready by then.
