If only there were people passionate about international rugby league in powerful positions. It is pretty much a no brainer to have these games, yet they havnt ever done it and are still talking about it.

I thought you would've learned from the Exiles and England Knights failures that non-national rep teams are a bad idea.

i hold myself partly responsible for the exiles too lol....i swapped emails with richard lewis in oct 2010 about starting at "other nationalities" team....that was selected via fan vote.....5 month later the exiles was announced and a fan vote lol...i suppose i could publish the emails now seeing it was 4 years ago & lewis has gone lol

the core group of the england team now,that was inches behind oz & nz..in oz & nz!! have come from the england knights program....


its been a massive success!

Yeah, did England beat NZ or Australia, even the weakest Australia side for about 40 years? No. England Knights is just window dressing and the fact that they were playing actual international teams does nothing but discredit the game.

f**k all these gimmick teams. What we need are more internationals, more respect for non big-3 nations and a proper international structure, not more made-up teams and gimmicks.

since oz are reigning WC champs we probably arent.

if we beat them in the anzac test, then yeah we probably are. right now it's quite debateable.

If that's the case spud,I will take credit for the 2 tier world cup we had last year.I got a letter published in 1999 in Open Rugby.I feared what would happen at the 2000 RLWC if Australia played Russia etc
