Cordoba may have a fast play the ball but he is a liability in defense with how slow he moves and finess wise. He struggles with the pace of the game so is forced to try and slow te play the ball resulting in penalties. He was a shocker for giving away dumb penalties last year along with tautai.

Couldn't f said it better.

Excuse my ignorance who is this Joel Gould fella?

I've never heard of him

That is just plain wrong. On al accounts. Especially Compared to Dougie who was good for at least 1 try through him per game.
Of the 3, Cordobas defensive stats per minute played are the best.
I think for the season he gave away 9 penalties.

Considering he played around 50 minutes, made 20-30 tackles each game, his stats are very good in the defense department.
I wouldnt be surprised to see him on the bench round 1.

Yes unfortunately he is always good for a penalty for lying on the tackled player too long.

Hope he has baulked up a bit over the off season as he's a bit of a light weight for prop.

Like others, I was a keen RLW fan but haven't even looked at for years now. Their predictions are as good as mine on the horses. I did tip that the Sharkies will finish 6th and I haven't seen anything to change that yet.

I have never been a fan. I don't rate him as a first grader.

Only 6 actually. He also only missed 16 tackles for the entire season.

I reckon one of our biggest coups was getting Degwah back. Quick play the ball is great but if dummy half cant capitalise its a shit sandwich. He's the key for mine to releasing the potential of our new forwards. We have been a bit hit and miss since he left TBH. Hughes, Morris, Aiton all great on their day but lacked that consistant perfromance. Hope Degwah doesnt go the same way. Robson...well he might be a boon for us who knows.

I am with you on Degois, I think he will have a huge season considering our strength in the forwards. He just seems to read play very well and is aware of the opposing teams defensive structure, Throw that in with Carney and Gards we will see some exciting games.

I really can't see Corboda getting a game this year, there's just too much depth and size as well
Size is the thing. However, despite previous allegations, he is not that immobile at all, & can play back row & can play minutes. That provides good flexibility on the bench. I cant see any difference between him green & tafua.
