RLW price

Hey Colonel - this is weird. I just noticed my RLW definitely says $4.95 on the cover - which is what I paid.

Do you think they blundered and re-issued it or something? I can't explain that one !

I'm going to hit my newsagent up for a dollar. I'd guess they haven't changed the price from the summer edition and stuick the sticker over the price. When I pulled it off..... $4.95. Barstards!

mine says 4.95. when i went to pay they said 5.95. i asked, they got confused so i just paid the 5.95 anyway. i've had the same thing happen with the same magazine before.

i find big league better, it has full team lists etc

rlw comes out first though

I buy both. Have boxes of them at home. I'll go through them all again one day. If you were going to buy one I'd probably lean towards the Big League. I do however like the game summaries and player ratings much better in RLW.

I used to buy both RLW & BL most weeks, but last year I started to only buy them If I knew there was Parra articles and stuff in them.

I get both, if they could roll it all into one it would be better as they both have strengths and weaknesses.

I've always liked Big League better. Has all the great stats, always has some sort of article on your team which is good. And just is generally better imo.. Also they last longer, unlike RLW paper thin huge magazine lol.

4.95 is the reccomended retail price. most newsagents would be silly to go over it. some do...with all mags this is

i like both mags. Big League has the nrl rights so they can name teams etc. yet i like the ratings and some stories in RLW. i do get both

Yeah had the same price issues

Says $4.95 on cover, got to the counter and they said $5.95 .. being a marketing graduate i argued with the newsagent about false advertising etc.

Anyhow, he showed me his invoices for the mags which clearly state that the price of the magazine is $5.95. From what i heard, RLW made a printing error and the correct price is $5.95.

i was a annoyed when i went to my local newsagents...which i walked to with only $5 and grabbing my copy of RLW and taking it to the counter..only to have the girl at the counter ask me for $5.95....i had to walk back home and get another dollar...those bastards!
