Did the bye come at the right time for the boys ? With only Shillo backing up from Wednesday night we should be a fresh team.

Lets hope the boys turn up and play better than against Parra

Did we beat the bye?

I give us little chance against the Bunnies. They are playing far more disciplined footy than we are at the moment and if Inglis backs up, he will shred our left side defence all day.

We lack intensity and rarely bring it for the full 80 minutes.

I don't give them much chance to win. The defence is just so so poor.

mcillwrick scored 3 tries on the weekend for mounties, give him a f**king game furner. I even wouldn't mind seeing Iosefa given a shot. Anyone is better than waddell.

The Canberra Raiders have axed stars Josh Dugan and Blake Ferguson from Friday’s night’s crucial match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs for alleged alcohol breaches.
Raiders coach David Furner will name his team at 4pm today and was unavailable for comment, but The Canberra Times understands Dugan and Ferguson will be both be stood down for disciplinary reasons relating to alcohol.
It’s alleged Ferguson showed up to a training session late last week still under the affect of alcohol, while Dugan had allegedly been drinking while trying to recover from an abdominal strain. Both were in breach of the club’s alcohol policy.

Is Canberra really that boring?

Ferguson is going ballistic on twitter.

If you need proof he's lost the playing group, that's it.

Apparently after the loss to Brisbane a grog ban of some sort was imposed on the playing group. Not sure of the details. It is this ban that has been broken. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I too tend to agree that bans on the drink are possibly futile. However, if the coach and senior playing group have set the rules then .........

If only Furner had the same mentality he would stand himself down for bringing the club into disrepute with his pathetic coaching.

Seems fair to me.

Huge shock when I saw the team on my phone. It's annoying not having Dugan and Ferguson but can't wait to see how Lee goes, could steal himself a spot with a good showing.

Im looking forward to it as well. Im not expecting him to be a world beater but I think he has something to offer and the more times he steps up to the NRL squad the better it will be for him
