Early news out of the Warriors camp is that Ronald Volkman will be making his debut this week. Whether he's replacing Shuan Johnson or Chanel Tavita-Harris is yet to be disclosed.

Playing in QLD means we need to take 24 players on the trip. And given our NSW Cup team plays at 3pm Saturday, looks like they'll be understaffed again. With the general Bye in NRL and NSW Cup, that could mean 4 weeks between games for guys like Falls, O'Sullivan etc.

Yeo should be back on deck this week, which means Ivan will need to make a decision about Eisenhuth vs Leniu (vs Salmon) on the bench.

I would imagine with Ivan's blood clot issues he won't travel either. As you said could be a tricky one. Here's a thought will NRL players up for origin be rested as a precaution ?

Is it also time to begin thinking about sucession planning for Ivan. The prince regent Cameron will have to step in again.

Maybe the carrott of this will keep those pesky dogs and Parramatta teams away from OUR CAMERON.

Huth played 48 the previous week to Leniu's 14 & Kenny's 32. Don't think we can take too much from the minutes at the moment as Ivan is playing around with rotations. None of the guys have let him down when given expanded minutes including Salmon. I'd go Leniu with Kenny to give Yeo a rest though given Eisenhuth is not the future. Keen to see Leniu back up his game from this weekend and our right side to continue to build confidence with ball in hand.

I don't get the lower grades dropping out of the 8? We can only drop to 5th this week in Cup & would need the 3 sides below us in Flegg to beat the 3 top teams to fall out? Hopefully they can both get back on track after the Bye in any case as they should be top 2.

It is top 6 now. Not a top 8

As the OP stated a few players will be 4 weeks between games.

After missing a week before the Dogs game.

That is the issue moving forward and even more so if those who are playing are losing winning habits

If it is the day after they can. The Dragons in Round 1 couldn't get them in time to play NSW Cup

I think that is why there are a few different guys in the 24.

Jennings, O'Sullivan are getting game time atleast should they be needed for the Roosters game. The bye week you'd think we'd have a stacked side to get match fitness
