Cotric by the length of the Federal Highway....no one comes close.

CHN a distant second. Brailey was ok, bit of the Matt Keating about him though, nothing particularly standout. There isn't really anyone else worthwhile.

Cotric for mine if Crichton doesn't qualify. He of course won't get it but that Dufty fella from the Dragons had an awesome debut yesterday.

Neither had as an eye popping rookie year as Cotric is having. Neither even won the award.

To be fair, neither really could as they debuted in the season's prior with a few games that disqualified them from the year they really played consistently.

Cotric for sure.

The kid is awesome and wouldn't look out of place in a Blues jersey next year if the selectors had some balls.

His kick returns and runs out of his own half are awesome.

And from all reports he's a good kid too with an excellent work ethic so he'll be a superstar for years to come.

Maybe even better than Matt Gaffa!

Cos 2 of those guys are halfbacks, the other is destined for 5/8....and Cotric's a mere winger?

Cotric plays his position better than most rookies I've seen over the past several years.

IMHO Cotric's a better winger in 2017 than Ash Taylor or Nathan Cleary were halfbacks in 2016.

IMHO Cotric's a better winger in 2017 than Jack Bird was a utility in 2015.

If you're comparing a 2017 Taylor, Bird or Cleary to a 2017 Cotric, that's a different story.

Cotric's the one shining light of our awful season.

No because they had better years for mine. This year he should get it though.

You'd have a fair pool of talent for a "Breakout Year" award / Best Player 21 or Under.

Think Crichton or Cleary this year, Munster or Tom T last year, etc.

Keep your eyes off him.

No wonder the Raiders aren't in the top 8 when there two best players are there wingers Nick Crotch and Jordan Rapana, how can you win a comp when your wingers are your best players.

Pretty sure ya need the halfback/hooker/fullback(pretty much an extra playmaker these days) to be your best players to lead the other donkeys around the park.
