Lol maybe you can.

But I was responding to your point that "neither even won the award"

If you reckon Tom T would not have won if a few games the previous year hadn't disqualified him, then good luck to you.

Ok well I'll just keep dealing with the facts while you live in fantasy land.

NSW should throw caution to the wind next year and unleash the rookie backs on QLD:

1. Tedesco
2. Cotric
3. Mitchell
4. Trbojevic
5. Addo Carr
7. Cleary

Might not win (won't anyway) but at least it'll be super entertaining for once.

Better than watching the likes of Fergo, Dugan, Maloney and yes, Pearce, plod it up gangnam style.

Might happen but that won't be the backline.

If NSW were smart they wouldn't pick Dugan/Fergo either, and Morris has retired

This is what id like to see next year -

1. Tedesco
2. Trobjevic
3. Bird/Hayne
4. Walker
5. Mansour
6. Moylan
7. Maloney/Cleary

Basically a whole new backline.

Haynes ego is too big for his own good, would rather him not be there but we all know he will

Can only see rookies like Cotric, Addo-Carr, Roberts, Mitchell getting a run if their were injuries

Did you mean Corey Harawira-Naera(CHN) or is there someone I'm forgetting? Personally I think it should be Cotric. That Sharks bloke was alright but the injury stuffs him. CHN should at least be considered in the conversation, been a very good back rower.

Cotric for sure.

The kid is awesome and wouldn't look out of place in a Blues jersey next year if the selectors had some balls.

His kick returns and runs out of his own half are awesome.

And from all reports he's a good kid too with an excellent work ethic so he'll be a superstar for years to come.

Maybe even better than Matt Gaffa!

Haha we can only hope so!
Seriously though Raiders fans love to love their young kids, so it's nice to see others are impressed with him as we are

I think he means Tom Turbo should win rookie of the year every year.

Hayne shouldn't be considered. James Roberts would have to be very close to a spot.

Slim pickings this year.

Nick Cotric wins for mine. But the best rookies dont always win. Guys like Tommy Turbo, Cleary etc. All debuted midseason when they had no chance at winning that years award and were ineligible for the following year. Cotric has an advantage in playing all season.

I also think Vunivalu had the better rookie season. Hopefully a good club picks up Cotric so he can go on and be the star we know he is capable of. It would truly suck if his potential was wasted and he just became another Jarrod Croker.

I'd have the jet closely considered after Walker/Bird. His defense concerns me at origin level but
Agree. Jimmy the Jerk looks to be one of those who is fine at club level but would be found at the next level.
Plus do we really want another known dickhead in the NSW team?

Cotric's coming up with match winning plays for our sh*t team in his rookie year. Vunivalu was in a good team, and mostly just caught and fell over the line last year.

In just saying you could argue it, leading try scorer etc I'm not saying it definite.

Ash Taylor came up with winning plays and got a mediocre side to the 8. I think he has a more impressive rookie year than anyone else the last five years.
