Tom Symonds deserves a spot somewhere in there. Very strong wide-running lock.

Vidot > Winterstein & ESPECIALLY Gordon. If Idris is a rookie, then Joel Thompson is too. Throw him on the bench.

Having a look at that list - the future of the NRL is safe hands. Hopefully these boys won't f**k up off field like the current geniuss.

Does McCullough still count as a rookie this year? If so I would have him ahead of Waddell, he has played just about every game this year

If we're going by the NRL's definition for rookie.

1. Josh Dugan
2. Kevin Locke
3. Jarrod Croker
4. Jamal Idris
5. Kevin Gordon
6. Daniel Mortimer
7. Scott Porter
8. Josh McGuire
9. Andrew McCullough
10. Tim Mannah
11. Joel Thompson
12. James Tamou
13. Alex Glenn

14. Kieran Foran
15. Tom Symonds
16. Steve Rapira
17. Blake Ayshford

That forward pack is mostly off the top of my head.

BD - While Vidot may turn out to be the better prospect, Gordon had the much better year.
