Roosters Coaching Clinic

After getting back from the Kingswood Sports Club earlier this evening on behalf of my boys I want to say a huge THANKS to the entire Roosters first grade team and the few young guns that came out to our neck of the woods and put on a terrific arvo of fun and footy.

The Kids were treated to everything from chipping practice from Fitzy, to tackling practice from Morley.......our sons learnt a few good moves...

Later there was the chance for each and every child to get their heros autographs and have pics taken with them..

Thanks so much guys, sometimes it is so hard for the kids to get close to you when the adults are all there before hand, I can assure you your time and efforts were greatly appreciated and I know of quite a few young fellas that will be talking about their training session with the Roosters for a long time to come.

Hope Moz taught the lads his new and improved tackling style, not the side-lining style! #-o

Good on the Roosters and thanks rp02 - I love to hear stories like this

Hey RP02 I was there also....your not the guy I was sitting next to at the Roosters v Penrith game at Telstra this year are you?? I was there with my Mum and my little boy.

Were you the guy showing Sticky your Tat last night???

Anyway it was a great night....my kids were too small to join the Clinic needed to be 7 and over...next year for the boy and the girl well she thought it was great kicking the ball around and playing with Roosterman and Crazy John :D .

Anyway he was so pleased to meet Mini his hero who was so nice to him...it was a great night...always is...they have been doing it for quite a few years now.

Thanks Roosters, much appreciated by the Rooster fans in Penrith District.

PS Apparently Crocker got engaged.

Nah Roostergirl
but there was a guy showing the boys and I his tat, I told him I wasnt brave enough to get one of those but we did name our youngest son Fletcher so we figured that was almost as good..

There is two of us that post as RP02 and I am the female side of the partnership.......my poor hubby was at work up the road from the coaching clinic and dead jealous that we were the and he had to work.

My 11 year old was sooooooooo happy to be near the guys and to have them coach all the kids, he couldnt stop talking about it.........our 3 year old wanted to play footy with Fitzy but couldnt understand why he wasnt aloud.

We didnt get a chance to go last year so we are glad the kids had a great time, and like everyone we look forward to next years adventures.

  RP02 sorry I mixed you up.

Believe it or not we named our 3 y/o after Fletchers girlfriend at the time Brit   our kids might be destined to be together ;-)

It was a great night......my son can't wait to have a run with them next year.

Thats cool RG, I blend in well.

How uncanny is that, Fletch is in love with Chalie from Hi5 at the moment, but hey anything is possible....

I have spoken to a couple of people that have a bit to do with the running of the one in town aswell, and they say that the Kingswood one is by far the best turnout....and that it will keep going.

My sons mates dont beleive he got to train with the chookies so I'm hoping a couple of the pics turn out for him.

Fibroman please read your pm's.

Guys, I love these types of threads as I live on the Gold Coast and just can't get to these types of things.

I can promise you from now on, I will be deleting any trolls who interupt genuine people who are supporting league.
