Why has there been no mention in the media about the Roosters poor crowds?

Minus the 31,000 that turned up for the big game v Dragons the roosters are averaging 11,522 to Souths 10,949.

The Roosters are playing in their own district and have no juniors. Why has the media not campaigned for them to move after all, isn't the CC able to solve their two major problems ie. crowds and juniors.

They'll easily get 15,000 at this weeks game. The Souths v Newcastle game in round 5 last year got a bit over 16,000, and both teams were going pretty ordinary leading into the match. The Newcastle fans coming down the freeway will inflate the crowds by several thousand.

the 31 000 counts as a dragons home game i believe.

The 31000 was a dragons home game, so i'm not sure why you included (or excluded) that figure in your calculations.

The roosters crowds have been mentioned, the tele often says in its crowd watch that the roosters are only pulling small crowds.

I did hear that Brian Canavan was trying to get hold of both melon and the other Roosters fan so that Adrian Morley could thank all of the Rooster fans personally for their support over the years.
