The higlight of the evening was the life memberships awarded to three clubmen, including Bernie Gurr, who's Dad proudly accepted it on his behalf.

The other big news was the confirmed 1st Grade Debut of Anthoiny Tupou. Stuart named him in the 17 to start against Souths on Sunday, and everyone had big wraps on the kid.

By all accounts Anton, you are correct. Due to the heavy rep schedule of our players, they didnt start training till early 2004, and that gave Stuart a chance to work closely with about 60 emerging youngsters. Anthony's work etchic, attitude and agression was a standout. He broke his leg last year, running at training. He has trimmed down this year, the leg feels great and I cant see any probs for him with this injury again. Other injuries may occur, but he is fit, super trim and mobile, and by all accouonts, a f**king lunatic in attack and defense. I must say, he has been one of our most promising acquisitions in recent years. I know youve got a soft spot ffor him, being from the Hunter, and I hope he makes us and you proud. Especially if he kicks Parson's and Kennedy's arse!!!

Jeezus, just saw Ryan Cross interviewed ... what a mammoth. You know when people said he'd bulked up I thought, a few extra pounds would help. He's looking really scary. I think the Yak and Morley may be going toe to toe with the beard as well !!

Man this game is going to be one sided, The roosters have an extremely impressive side, it's at aussie stadium, and they are looking for a strong start to declare their intentions for the season. I really wish they showed it on tv!
