while i agree with the development of the youngsters, fitzy not being offered a contract yet is a worry. the pack needs the experienced old heads in it and we're losing those one by one.

maybe wing can see his contract out at prop ;-)

I wonder how the talks with Asatosi went - the money is now there for a change and it is time to go back to the cheque book,
anasta and harrison were only only major buys last year...a bigger pack would certainly help Finch and Anasta heaps

not sure i totally agree. the cheque book shouldve been out for the past couple of years for retension rather than looking elsewhere but its history now. we need a tough old prop or two, nothing flashy, to help the young boys out. as far as i was always aware, props got better with age. all this reminds me of the late 90's when we had the 'so called' front row curse (but it was continuous injuries to the props not exodus) and Ricko ended up playing prop for a good part of the 98 ? season with scotty logan. if we dont end up with a quality old head prop after june 30th it might be a case of fitzy or flannery packing down with shillington next year :?
