Roosters Vs Eagles

My week has been gruesome.

NBN didn't show the Roosters Game so I haven't seen it.

I possibly did the most bizzare thing as a fan the other night, I was at the hospital with my Daughter on Monday at 2 in the morning and the news report had an interview with Freddy. [not that I can understand what he says :D] Half in a coma I jumped up from the plastic torture chair and told the couple beside me to shush [they had nodded off] and began clapping and yelled go Roosters!! Seemed like fun at the time.

Well we play the Eagles on Sunday and amid much controversy over Crazy Johns I'm sure we can put two points on the board even with so many players injured.

Does anyone know when Crocker and Fitzy will be back?

Crocker this week needled to the hilt (bloody legend) supposedly - and not a week too soon. But I'm sure someone more in the know will confirm or deny this ;-) Fitzy first week of the finals - well thats the plan. :D

;-)

Yeah just heard on the Radio that Fitzy is back in full training and may be back before the finals...yipee I hope they are right.

Actually when I saw him a couple of weeks ago I asked him when he would be back and he said "pretty soon".....I said "not soon enough" ;-) He looked really fit and great actually.

a game that worries the hell out of me...hope flannery comes off at 5/8

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Flannery at 5/8. He's got the defensive skills, he's a decent size and strength and I think the ball playing will improve with time and given the oppertunities. He's young and probably not a bad option to groom as the heir apparent.

I'm worried too. If we had only Fittler out, I'd be confident but with Crocker carrying an injury in and Ricko still not a hundred percent plus the cheap seat (injury/suspension) warmers unavailable, it's a danger game.

W 8) W, good news although knees are fickle things and I just hope he comes through the finals ok. For someone whom I thought was the most awkward looking footballer I had ever seen in top grade a few years ago, he's really become a favourite.

I have had a crappy week too :(

Been sick since Sunday but have had to work the last 7 days as well as go to Uni.

Ran out of petrol (how embarrasing) then once rescued and went to the Petrol Station, filled my car up and managed to not have my wallet on me to pay (how embarrasing)

BUT on Tuesday arvo there was a Roosters postcard in my mailbox. One of the girls that I go to the games with in Sydney gaoty in from the Roosters BBQ and sent it up with a 'can't wait til you're here' msg.....made my day and only 32 days til go!)

Anyway....I hate Manly games. The have Ferris back which will lift them. Our team is depleted....but we can still win!!!

Writing your article I hope. I notice you've avoided the 'we don't seem to have enough players for a team this week' thread. :x

There must be something in the water north of the boarder. The Queensland girls have submitted to it. :D Don't worry, a win on the weekend will see normality returned and the past week seem but a memory...

Well, you've got to hope.
