I was wandering what our chances are against the Warriors this weekend.
After the Warriors beat the Storm they will be fired up knowing they can beat any team in the comp.
I think if the Roosters don't win here we might have to wait til '07' to get our 1000th win.
Should be a good game.

Played pretty good last 10 weeks. 7 and 3, with one of those losses in golden point to the Dogs.

Nothing to be sniffed at.

Last home game for Guttenbeil and Webb, I'm sure the boys will fire up.

Scored a try
Made two line breaks
Set up the match winning try

But yes, he did have trouble with the kick-offs. That said, he gave your blokes a bathing last time and I'm sure he's hoping to do the same again.

and thanks for rovelli.
yeh he is playing well... he was never going to get a start at the roosters with finch, soward and lewis ahead of him in 2006. (as well as Pearce in the near future)

after watching the warriors play live last weekend, my head says we have no chance of beating them but the heart says we will. if we can survive the initial enslaught during the first 20 of each half without letting in too many points, we're a chance.

i hope we lose so we can knock up our 1000th against the dragons at the SCG (also so i can see the 1000th in the flesh)

Can I ask, why Rovelli never got a chance at the Chook-Eggs?

I mean seriously, the bloke is all class. Vision, nice touch, can run, can pass, can kick - what, or who, did he need to do to get a gig there?

Thanks for the pick-up.

cause stuart had a finch fetish, until he realised after 2 years of poor performances that he wasnt going to amount to anything

if you think he is better than Lewis and Soward then you guys have been smelling the sulphur too much. Let us see how he will go second year around..

the only thing that i question about lewis and soward is their defense. they really need to bulk up otherwise oppositions will direct all their traffic at them every game

I agree master rooster. They need to bulk up something fierce. Soward looks about 10kgs lighter than Lewis too.
Soward just doesn't seem big enough for first grade.
Lewis looks a better proposition at this stage.
I hope Soward can prove me wrong but at this stage the jury is still out.
