Have loved watching them play this year. You could argue on form their 1-5 is the best in the comp. Making the 8 would still be a great achievement with who they've lost and their injuries. Its such a poor comp this year, theres only 3 teams Id say are sure things for semis (Storm, Dogs, Broncos) the other 5 to make up the 8 could be anyone.

I think for 2025 we'll make the 8, I'd guess maybe 6th or 7th. If we get Robson, DCE and maybe one really highly rated prop for 2026 then I think we'll have the squad to win the comp.

It annoys me how athletic all the Roosters are, even if they aren't as good as they once were.

Especially when I go from watching that to my bunch of unathletic plodders.

I would agree with this if not for the fact this is a plod comp this year

I'm still confident Melbourne will win it in a canter but their GF opponent will come from the clouds IMO and we are as good a shot as any to go on a run at the right time.

Yes, but at the rate both sides are currently going, Penrith being in a 2025 NRL finals match is looking more improbable by the week.
