The "big lead" was at its largest 12 points.
I hate to be pedantic, but we were up 24-12 before the Naughts got it back to 24-20. However, we then got it out to 36-20, and the Naughts put on a late one to end the game at 36-26.
Walker took the intercept right in front of us before racing to the other end for his first try. Good thing he took it because if he hadn't, the six points would have gone to the Naughts. Cross did all the work for his second one. It was about that point the Naughts fans stopped giving it to him.
From memory, we were without Fittler, Wing, Morley, Hegs?
Naughts we missing Joey, Matt Gidley, Kennedy, O'Davis, Tahu (and then some).
There was a bit of feeling in the game for a trial. Good to see things haven't changed.
And lastly...it was good to see Hodges back on the field.
18 Days, 20 Hours, 7 minutes to go...I'm excited!
